This has been a five star exp from the start. Great communication with the shipper. The detailed instructions were easy to follow. All the parts were there and every aligned perfectly making assembly easy. It did take us a couple of days but the end results exceed our expectations.

Great investment

backyarddiscovery.com

We bought this for our deck as we needed a bit of shade. It is absolutely perfect! We aren't that handy at putting things together but we accomplished it and are actually still married!!😂 It is very sturdy and just the right amount of shade we needed!

Perfect for shade!

I bought the Saxony XL grill gazebo two years ago and assembled it by myself. If you are assembling it by yourself, I recommend assembling the roof on the top, unlike I did… This has withstood two winters in New England, with a lot of snow last winter. The Cedar wood remains very strong, clean (as advertised), and the overall product is very durable. This gazebo provides a really enjoyable way to cook in the outdoors without an outdoor kitchen. I recommend this to anyone looking for a nice entertainment/grilling area with the right space for it.

Two years later, time to write a review

Great product at a reasonable price! Make sure to read and follow instructions to the T. That made assembly very easy. Also do yourself a favor and pre stain the entire gazebo before you put together. Looking forward to may years of enjoyment

Love these Gazebo's

I just love my new gazebo. It goes well with the bar and the bbq gazebo I purchased. Very happy with all the backyard discovery purchases I've made for my yard Would highly recommend your products as they are well built and the best quality. Looking for many years of enjoyment

High quality outdoor

We bought the 12x24 version a few months ago and with only one hiccup of missing boards, which were promptly sent out to us, this went up so smoothly and is absolutely beautiful! Only suggestion is to make sure you use washers with all of the screws or you will have leaks! Overall, we were so happy with it, that when we saw the smaller version, we bought it to place our grill and smoker under and it's fantastic!! The quality and craftsmanship of the material is top notch! Highly recommend if you want to add outdoor living space!!

Worth every penny....and some!!

I bought this gazebo 3 months ago. I absolutely love it!!! It keeps us out of the summer sun and the rain. The size is big enough that we have 2 matching patio tables under it for entertaining a crowd. We hung a 72 bulb string of solar lights all around the outside of all 4 sides and on every roof beam underneath for night time use. We did coat it with a clear waterproof and UV proof coating as recommended in the owners manual, to protect it from water damage and turning gray. Cedar will turn gray and weathered looking if not protected.
I would highly recommend purchasing this gazebo! You will live it!!

Love This Gazebo!!

Bought this gazebo back in April and I'm satisfied, overall. The color has faded quicker than expected, but I get a lot of sun in my backyard so it's understandable. Putting it together wasn't terrible, it took me a couple of days to get it all together. When the larger pieces start to come together, I recommend having several pairs of helping hands. I mainly used the written instructions, but the instruction on the app also came in handy. I did tighten a few of the bolts earlier this week, and it seems that some of the lumber has become rather brittle. I'm noticing a few cracks in the posts, as well. Nothing overly concerning as of now, but I hope it doesn't get worse. It's a great addition to the backyard, and I love the flat, sloped roof design over a gabled roof. Hopefully it lasts for many years to come!

Satisfied overall

The gazebo itself is fine and good quality; however I do not recommend Sam’s installation. I don’t know how they vet the companies but the company who did our installation was a joke. They initially sent ONE person to do the install. That person took it upon themselves to alter the gazebo in installation. The company had to order new parts and after probably seven trips to the house finally got it installed after a two month period. I purposely hired someone to have it done quickly and my husband and I could’ve had this done way faster had we not paid for installation. The final quality of the work is equivalent to what I would’ve done and I’m not a professional.

Terrible Installation Experience

Greatly disappointed!
This item was set for delivery yesterday. I received a text message stating it would arrive in 30 minutes. 2 hours later it had not arrived. I called customer service and was told the truck broke down but I would receive the item the next day on the 1st route 7am to 11am. I had not received and information for the delivery so I called customer service and was told I would not receive the item until 5 days later.

I am beyond understanding WHY my item has to be delayed 5 days when it was 30 minutes to arrival time yesterday!

Hope you get your item if you choose to order it!
