This vacuum/mop has really been a lifesaver. We have kids and a dog and it really helps to have something that can be programmed and it runs. This not only keeps our house clean but saves us time. It navigates our floorpan well and handles different terrain.

It will always blow my mind how this robot vacuum/mop knows how to map out your home so it doesn't crash into walls or anything. My floors looks and feel clean at all times. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Roomba Plus 405 Combo robot and AutoWash with dock is an amazing house cleaning tool. It didn’t come with a quick start guide. Since there was no QR code to scan, it was much harder to get it set up. I couldn’t get the robot to sync with my app. It took me 45 minutes to get it set up to go. Once it was synced and ready to go, the robot mapped out the floor it was on in about 90 minutes. Once it did that, I had it clean 3 rooms. It stopped a couple times to clean the mop heads and once to empty the vacuum compartment. I used plain water to clean the hardwood floors. It picked up all the crumbs in the kitchen and did a nice job mopping in neat rows. In the foyer, it mopped away footprints from someone’s dirty shoe. The vacuuming was effective—it picked up a lot of cat fur and crumbs. It didn’t get stuck in cords that I couldn’t hide. It is quiet enough that I was able to watch TV still while worked. I took a video of it cleaning, but it won’t load to this review. I like that you can edit the map to label the rooms. You can also go into the map and subdivide a room for shorter cleaning sessions. For instance, if I cooked a lot and made a mess in the kitchen, I can have the robot only clean the kitchen—not the entire first floor. Overall, this is an excellent product.

Exceptional cleaner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been loving this roomba. It does a surprisingly good job of cleaning the floors with the mop. I love that I can set it to deep clean or just light wash where it’ll go over more times. You can also vacuum separate from the mop which is even nicer. The suction has been great. It’s very efficient time wise. So far no complaints.

Remote operation and control via app in the mobile device makes it easy and convenient to operate. The iRobot recognizes the obstacles and along follows the map efficiently. The clean power and suction is great the rotating brush get to the corner and unreachable areas easily. It automatically goes to the dock to charge. The mopping function is great and cleans well . It automatically empties as it gets full. Definitely a great vacuum that operates quietly ,great for office or big room with minimum obstacles that doesn’t require moving to clean and mop.

Quiet compact vacuum .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the iRobot Roomba 405 Combo robot + Auto Wash with dock compliments of Influenster.  I did have some issues setting up the vacuum for the first time. It connected to the app installed on my phone ,then couldn't find it. I had to close out of the app and then reopen it and that helped.  I was able to get a floor plan mapped out afterwards so it could do its job. Unfortunately I have a lip between the dining room and the kitchen entryway  so it can't go any further than two rooms downstairs. It mops and dries without leaving streaks which is nice. The reservoir tank is easy to use. Despite a few hiccups, I'm happy with it because it does clean well.

App is a little buggy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so glad that I got this Roomba iRobot. This is a multi use vacuum. Mops my hardwood floors and vacuums rooms with carpet. Super easy to install pieces together. It's not as bulky as I thought it'd be. Fits perfectly in any corner of a room. Keep in mind you will have to download the Roomba home app so you can program the device to your home. You can go as far as to program the machine to not go in some area you may not want to be cleaned by the device. There is a bag that holds plenty of days worth of debris. The water container has one side for clean water and the other for dirty water. I love this hands free vacuum. It is on the high price of vacuums/mops but it is so worth it. I was so tired of ringing mops and renting carpet cleaners. This is an amazing device.

All in one carpet and floor cleaner

I really want to love this but I need to return it. I love the vacuum and mopping.  Much better than my previous vacuum. However, I need to return as the battery is not staying connected and it won't run. I already contacted Roomba customer service once and they showed me how to fix it but it happened again and now it won't start at all.

I'm going to purchase another one thinking that this initial one was a lemon and the new one will be better.

A fluke??

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to set up. The sensors on the machine scan the room to set up where it needs to clean. The looking function works really well and even avoids carpets or rugs. The vacuum works but not the best.

Cool gadget but not a need

I have had this thing for just over a year and it's never worked right. I've called the manufacturer reset multiple times remapped and it's never went back to its docking station properly, for a few month I was able just to run it as a vacuum cleaner, but then it stopped doing that. I've had other robot, vacuum, cleaners, and had no problem with them the last one last me a few years.
