What you would expect. The diagonal dpad with the textured triggers and grip handles. Personally like the old style without textured triggers that you cant get anymore. Use Energizer rechargeable AAs and swap the 2 with the 2 good ones on the charger so get 4 AAs. Wired also works in a pinch. Usb c. Standard headphone jack so most headsets work into controller. Plus expansion slot for volume mixers but you can also do that from the xbox party settings. To play online it costs 10 a month but also its free online for free games like fortnite and destiny 2. The discord nitro bundle xbox core trial combo doesnt include online. You can get online cheaper by buying 6 month core or xbox gold cards from places like amaz0n or eneba

Button feel in hand is the best of any controller and I have held about 5 or 6 variations on xbox and playstation.  Clicking and textures of buttons just feel better than the others.  Battery life on AA seems good for a single charge since I have yet to need to change them.  Wireless connectivity seems rock solid.  I thought the thumb controllers would be awkward with how they were layed out but the size of the layout works and I enjoy holding it for gaming compared to the others which are smaller or slippery.

Best of the bunch by a longshot

This Xbox controller feels great in your hands and is very comfortable to use, even during long gaming sessions. The buttons and thumbsticks are responsive, the triggers have a nice feel, and it connects quickly without any issues. The battery life is solid, and the overall build quality feels durable. Whether you’re a casual or competitive gamer, it’s a reliable controller that’s well worth the purchase.

Great controller

Nothing beats the original.  I love that I've maxed "life" three of these Microsoft branded pieces and I keep coming back for the thrill of the feel of them dipping into my wallet again.  Excellent product.

Not much to say, I got exactly what I ordered for a great price. The controller is working well and I don’t have any complaints. I would definitely purchase this Xbox controller again from Walmart.

Great purchase

The extension port from the bottom of the controller is sealed off? I usually connect my adapter here just for it to be sealed and now I have to find another port that will fit in the 3.5 and connect to my headset

There is NO port for my controller keyboard!!!!
I looked it up after I got it and MS changed their design three months ago. Nope.
I'll be getting a refund and going with a 3rd party controller.

The stick drift started only after 1 month. These controllers are built to be replaced quickly. It is very wasteful and very harmful to the environment when these have to be binned after a few weeks of use. Microsoft needs to do better. Class Action Incoming i am sure of it.

The headset came a day late. When I tried to connect it it wouldn't connect unless I pushed down. Since it would be impossible to keep it pushed down and play a game I returned it and I wouldn't suggest buying it. I haven't a clue how this gets Hugh marks if it's this busted out of the box.
