World of Eric Carle: Hoot & Howl Halloween Sound Book, Noisy Book

Instructions

Matching words with pictures and sounds improves reading comprehension, and hands-on interaction with the story connects young reader to a lifelong love of reading. Turning pages builds fine motor skills. Interacting with favorite Eric Carle characters engages young readers. Sounds bring the stories to life!
Eric Carle illustrated more than seventy books with some becoming all-time children's best sellers. More than 150 million copies of Eric Carle's books have been sold worldwide, including his all-time best seller 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' which was written in 1969. That iconic book has been translated to more than sixty-five languages. His career as a children's illustrator didn't start until he was nearly 40 years old, and the children's book author took off after he collaborated on 'Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See'. The caterpillar origin was well, not actually his first character idea for his books. Rather, the idea began started as a bookworm named Willi, and his editor suggested a caterpillar. Of his seventy books, he wrote most of them by himself!
Each board book is nearly nine inches in height and nearly eight inches in width.
Three replaceable long-life 357/AG13/LR44 alkaline manganese (non-lithium) button cell batteries are included. Seven sound buttons are at the press of a finger.
This is a wonderful book. It gives more of a Halloween vibe without being too scary. It has rhymes and nice illustrations. The kids love the sounds.

Great buy!
