This TV is remarkable for the price and I'm so pleased with it, I bought a 50 inch and a Vizio sound bar and ease of installation was remarkable and now I'm enjoying it immensely I bought it on the Fourth of July sale so I paid very little for I'm very happy about that

walmart.com

★★★★★ (5/5 Stars)

(I almost never write reviews for electronics but this TV deserves one)

🤑🤑If you are on the fence about what TV to buy, do yourself a favor: stop shopping and get the Vizio Quantum Dot Mini-LED.

Two months ago, I bought the 55-inch version for my home office and den. The picture quality blew me away so thoroughly that I convinced my roommate to pick up the 43-inch model for his bedroom. Once he saw that screen in action, he was completely hooked. He immediately turned around, bought another 55-inch for our living room, and ordered this 50-inch specifically for our lanai. We now have four of these sets across the house, and every single one delivers a flawless experience.

🚨Make sure you specifically buy the **Quantum Dot Mini-LED** model. The box is purple. Stay away from the Red box without Mini LED. The picture quality punches far above its weight class:

🚨True Inky Blacks %26 High Contrast:
Because it features genuine Mini-LED hardware with active local dimming zones, the blacks are deep and true—no washed-out gray bars during widescreen movies.

🚨Punchy, Accurate Color:
The Quantum Dot color layer makes reds, greens, and blues pop with lifelike realism without looking oversaturated or cartoonish.

🚨Blinding Peak Brightness: This 50-inch is set up on our lanai, a bright space with extensive sunlight and windows. While standard LED panels wash out and struggle with glare, this Mini-LED cuts right through the ambient daylight. Watching weekend football and daily news outside is crystal-clear.

🔥You might wonder how Walmart can sell a true Mini-LED 4K TV at this price point while brands like Samsung, Sony, and LG charge hundreds more for equivalent display tech. The answer comes down to economics. Walmart completed its $2.3 billion acquisition of Vizio, bringing hardware design, supply chains, transportation, and retail distribution directly under one roof. By cutting out every distributor and middleman along the way, they can sell premium display hardware at a price no other retailer or brand can touch.

The lines, sharpness, fine detail, and panel contrast on this set are phenomenal. Hands down, Vizio is the clear winner on the market right now—just be certain you're buying the Mini-LED. You won't regret it. The built in speakers won't replace a nice sound bar but they do sound great and are plenty loud. Oh yea, I almost forgot, my best friend in Virginia bought one two weeks ago and he loves it too! (I wish I was getting a commission or reward points or something. 5 T.V.'s in two months..😎

Absolute Game Changer – Hands Down the Best Value

Great TV and the price was right. Very sharp picture, and very bright if it needs to be so it does well with lots of natural light. The Mini LED does very well. Out of the box, Colors are a little saturated but in a good way. This can be corrected if wanted but was not a problem for me at all. Over all great Purchase and does more than I expected.

Great Television.

Purchased this TV for my son's college apartment. The picture is crisp and clear. The sound is very good. It has a VERY simple remote but it works well. You have to sign up for a Sony/Vizio account (which I did not like) to activate the smart features but it's what makes the TV work.

Great TV

50" tv is light, I have it hanging in gazebo for summer. great picture, has 400x300 vesa pattern. has bluetooth for headphones/ my JBL speakers. 300 free internet channels and movies through watchtv . Connected easily to wifi and streams smooth from a far distance from my router. For under $250 it's a nice tv. I've owned 20 tvs from LED to plasma to crystal and this does everything you need it too with good picture and many picture adjustments due to the mini LED. Good buy if it lasts.

Such vivid colors. It has a very sharp picture. I always buy Vizio because I've never had any problems in the past. I'm also very happy that Walmart had it on sale. Besides the TV purchase, I also bought the 4-year extended warranty. On any major purchase, I like having the assurance that my item will be covered.

Good TV, cost efficient, BUT there is catch: TV stand was impossible to install due to screws not fitting. We thought it was one TV, had it changed and same thing was on second one. So if you are installing on the wall, it will be fine. TV works otherwise. We returned it.

TV ok, but stand cant be installed

TRASH! Do NOT buy this TV. It has a good picture , WHEN it actually stays on long enough to see the picture. Horrible tech issues-not powerful enough to support its own app updates. HDMI ports just stop working randomly. Freezes up at least once a week-when this happens remote doesn't work-Have to unplug and restart. Sound is horrible. You get what you pay for. Vizio used to be good until they were bought up by…..who? shocking huh?! This one is going to be used for target practice as soon as its upgrade arrives.

TRASH

I woould never have bought this tv if i had known these two things. 1. It forces you to be signed into your walmart account ON THE TV 24/7 in order for any of the smart features and free streaming channels to work. Forcing you to be constantly signed into your walmart account in order for the tv to function properly was not disclosed anywhere that i saw prior to purchase! I learned that walmart bought out vizio, hence the forced marketing tactics, extremely unhappy about this aspect of i t (if they would have disclosed this so people can decide for themselves if they want or like something like that prior to purchase is what should be the case in my opinion). There are pairing issues with it, its software doesnt want to recocgnize some older equipment, so it wont display some older viewing devices. If i could rate it a 0 stars i would.

TWO THUMBS DOWN

It's trash. Honestly, I really don't understand the positive reviews. My beefs.

1. The picture quality is good with some things, but it's terrible with some streaming content. Episodes of classic shows on Prime will cycle back and forth with enhancement that doesn't match and shifts back and forth from grainy to smooth. It's super distracting.

2. Forget about this thing working smoothly with a Roku. Using it and a sound bar is 100% out of the question and will have you restarting the TV every other day just go get any sound on the TV regardless of source.

3. Playing content from USB drives is a joke. The interface looks straight out of Windows 98 which makes sense because the only drive format that can be read is fat32 which only allows for 4gb of storage.

Vizio is garbage. I've known it for years, but I got suckered by price and reviews that were either bought and paid for or not reflective of a typical user.
