You cannot go wrong with this Roquefort if you appreciate blue cheese. Kudos to Sam's Club for including this in the specialty cheeses and a special thanks to Daphne club which rarely stocks the very best.

An excellent Roquefort

We have always liked this brand of Roquefort but it was very expensive. Sam's has a great price so we can enjoy it more often!

Love it for salad dressing!

We love Blue Cheese and this Sam's product is great.  We like it because it is in 2 packages.  Open one and the other stays sealed until you need it.  Thanks!

A little heavy with rind which lacks much flavor, but, constitute about 15%(my estimate) of product weight.

Not the best, priced about right

Societe Roquefort has always been, IMO, lower quality saltier and drier that Vernieres. I have found Vernieres to be far more flavorful and both subtle and superior in its flavor the Societe. The Societe quarters wrapped in plastic is better than the variety packeged in a wedge-shapped plastic tray. (damning with faint praise....)

Disappointingly mediocre

Sam's used to carry the real version of this cheese. This is an industrial version and it's really no comparison to the real thing. This has no flavor, and it has a terrible hard waxy texture.
