I bought this because my neighbor got robbed and the theives walked off with two safes that had firearms and other important things inside. I don't want my firearms used in a crime, so I started shopping better safes than the ones I already had. It fit perfect in my closet and it bolted to the floor within minutes using the correct tools. Even if someone was able to detach it, the thing takes 2 grown men to carry, and its still not an easy task at 163 pounds of steel. I feel comfortable that my things will be safe if the bad guys come to defile my house next.

Quality

This price blows other retailers out of the water, whether they be brick and mortar or ecommerce. Nice quality product. I bolted it to the floor. With one bolt, I located a floor joist. The other bolt, the supplied vinyl fastener was garbage (no surprise), so I just got a scrap piece of 2"x4" from the garage, and drilled/bolted through the subfloor into that.

Easy to use, completely Fireproof

I bought this about a month ago and we are Very happy with it. We first bought a finger print access safe-not from here. It may have worked 5 out of 20 times, and that may be an exaggeration. We returned that one and bought this and we are happy we did. It's quick (the most important feature) and easy.

Great safe for all valuables

We were very pleased with this! We both sleep better knowing that important documents and treasures are safe. The factory code did not work! so we used the key. After many failed attempts to use the factory code I pressed the little red reset button. This worked. This advice should have been in the instructions.

I purchased an Executive Safe a few years ago and am happy to share that this has been a great little safe.  It is small enough to be installed in a closet, yet has sufficient space for storing important documents, a couple of handguns and jewelry.

The electronic lock is simple to program and has never failed to open.  I used to change the battery once a year, but installed a Lithium 9V battery at last change out.

In comparison to other similar products, I think the Sentry Safe is the best option based on features, size and price point.

Great Safe!

Safe has all the basic features that one might ask for in a safe.  The only shortcoming we found was the shelves are weak and cannot hold much weight.  Forget about storing coins on the shelves.

Good Enough to Recommend

Safe looks sturdy; it's believable that it is both fire proof and water resistant when locked. The issue is that the handle worked to open the safe only twice on the day of delivery.  There has been NO response to the customer care center on how to proceed with return or correction of problem.  I will not be stuck with a $500 safe that does not function as intended.  This issue will be resolved.

Looks can be deceiving.

I own 5 of these safes.  The first 3 were a 3 star rating although customer support has always been poor.  the newest ones are horrible.  break and jam without little effort.  strongly recommend against this product.  im searching for an alternative

Horrible Quality, Worst Customer Service

We have had this safe approximately two years. We have had several issues with it. The motor to unlock it has always been weak. In talking with SentrySafe's customer service, they had us remove the battery tray it came with & use a 9V battery instead. We continued to have issues with it, although not as frequently & were just told to use a brand name battery with an expiration date 10 years in the future. Finally, the door just came loose where it was welded to the top hinge.
