Really loving this washer! Wish we had gotten a Samsung washer from the beginning. My only small issue is how long the cycles are. However, I look at it as the clothes are getting cleaner :) It is also nice not to have to go to the laundromat to do big blankets. The tub is big enough to handle that too.

Amazing Washer

Samsung US

Jeffrey

Purchased this and a dryer of Samsung one year ago. Have had nothing but problems with both . The washer sometimes doesn't drain and the dryer doesn't always dry and the loads turns off . It's been nothing but a hassle ;( would never buy Samsung washer and dryer again . Would have kept the old ancient machines we had in our home when we bought our home. I have little no faith that these Samsung machines will work for the next 5 years .

Not happy w Samsung washer & dryer

I like the features and usually love Samsung products overall but I struggle with balancing loads in this machine. We have had the rods replaced but their life expectancy seems in months and not years. Typical family of 4, not commercial loads. What more can I do?

Rebalancing

Meneleo

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finally picked up a Samsung washer, and the **AI features** are a total game-changer for saving time. It's super quiet, though I'd definitely recommend keeping an eye on the smart sensors to make sure everything stays running smooth.

Finally clean

One of the worst purchases I've ever made. I wanted to try a top loader machine again after many years using a front loader. One of the reasons I went to a front loader was to be able to wash quilt some comforters in. I liked the large capacity of this washer and the fact that I could wash the heavier loads in it. Unfortunately, the clothes came out with strange stuff and debris on them (several times). I'm alone with no kids at home so there weren't any funky stains on any of my beds or clothes. I also didn't feel like the comforters got sufficiently wet or soaked in the water. But the worst part was when I put powdered Borax in the washer, it never fully dissolved. Even when I tried dissolving it in hot water first, there would still be some powder on the comforter/ blankets when the washing cycle was complete. Basically, I felt like my some of my laundry came out dirtier than it went in.
One feature I did like on the washer was the ability to add extra water to the loads. I did that quite frequently when the top of the clothes were still dry and not covered.
One of the other reasons I went with this brand was the good reviews.
I also bought a range/oven from this brand and I'm having issues with it as well. So far, customer service has been nice to deal with but the problem is not resolved yet. I will be doing a separate review on that.
My contracted that was here working on some remodeling in my laundry room, said he does not recommend Samsung for appliances.

Gratefully, with Sam's Club 90 day return Policy on appliances they sell, I was able to return both the washer and dryer and I purchased an LG washer and dryer from them instead.
I had LG previously with my front loader and I loved them. I love these new ones as well.
I THINK SAMSUNG SHOULD STUCK WITH MAKING PHONES AND ELECTRONICS, NOT HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES!!

Not a good choice for household appliances!

I'll never know if the washer is good or not because it was never delivered. I have been member since 1994 snd have experienced the WORST service to date with this. Sam's is not a good choice for delivery if big ticket items. I've also had issues with smaller items and should've known better. I missed the reviews on this delivery part. This hassle along with some of the service encountered in-store lately has made me not want to use Sam's for anything anymore. I won't renew

Sam's Doesn't Deliver Big Ticket Items

Geraldine

This idiot designed machine overrides your hot temperature setting on normal, washing on cold without telling you (the lights still indicate hot), and washes your clothes without submerging them on most cycles. Lacking an agitator, this means part of your load is not getting well washed on those cycles. It turns the load somewhat, but not well. The depth of Samsung's stupidity is staggering.

Utterly defectively engineered

The way this machine is designed results in massive amounts of mold and mildew despite never using liquid detergent or leaving the lid closed. You will regularly find brown flakes all over your clothes. The self-clean cycle does not help. You will have to remove the entire “agitator” to deep clean it so your clothes are actually clean. The detergent tray also has to be removed on a regular basis to remove mold.

Design results in mold and mildew problems

This machine is unreliable and I have read so many reports of people who experience exactly the same thing… The uneven load it doesn't matter if you have a lot in it or a little in it it still goes wrong.

Do yourself a favor and buy a different brand that has more reliability

Beware the uneven load issue

Never buy a washer / lg appliance from Sam's Club online. The delivery date it shows when you order is not even close to when you will receive. We have been waiting for two weeks for just a single update on ETA from our order. No updates, called corporate three times, they have no updates either. Its "pending" shipping from the vendor then once it ships (nobody knows when) it goes to a 3rd party to contact you to schedule a time of delivery. The process is fine - the no communication unless I reached out is not. The fact that they can't even give you an eta is not OK after sitting around my house all day when my order and the Sams App all show will be delivered on "X" day so I plan around it. No calls, nothing. Mind you, I ordered the washer 4 days prior to that date, I waited. Now two weeks later, still crickets from the vendor and Sams Club has no answers. This is all a big joke. I HIGHLY recommend just going to Lowes or Home Depot and grabbing one in person. The extra savings from Sams online is NOT worth the hassle.

You will not get your order delivered on time
