Rastelli’s Prime Beef Rib with Two Side Dishes, Frozen, 10 lbs.

There’s nothing better than gathering around the table with friends and family for a delicious meal. Rastelli’s Prime Beef Rib with Two Side Dishes, Frozen, 10 lbs. includes everything you’ll need for a scrumptious meal—an out-of-this-world delicious and tender prime rib roast and two tasty, savory side dishes. Your meal will be as easy to cook as it is delicious to eat.
Prime Rib Roast (5 lbs.) with Signature Butter (1 lb.)
Juicy, tender and out-of-this world tasty, your meal will be memorable when you feature this boneless prime rib roast, no matter what the occasion. Wet-aged and hand-trimmed, this classic cut of meat is beautifully marbled to ensure a decadent roast every time. Cook with the signature butter for an exceptionally tasty meal!
Crème Fraîche Mashed Potatoes (2 lbs.)
The most classic holiday side dish, taken to a whole new level. Light and fluffy mashed Yukon gold potatoes blended with rich, decadent crème fraîche, butter and a savory herb and spice mix.
Mac & Cheese with Shell Pasta (2 lbs.)
This mouthwatering cheesy favorite is better than mom’s! Tender pasta shells smothered in a creamy, cheesy sauce explode in your mouth with a burst of flavor that’s almost too tasty to be true!
How to Cook This Meal
1. Thaw: Remove the Prime Rib Roast from the freezer and place it in the refrigerator for at least 48 hours to thaw. Before cooking, remove it from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature. 2. Prepare roast: Place the roast on a rack in a roasting pan. Score the roast with a sharp knife, then season as desired and coat with Signature Butter. 3. Preheat: Preheat oven to 350°F. 4. Cook: Place the roasting pan in the oven and cook to your desired doneness. Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. Check the roast after 1 hour. 5. Rest: Remove the roast from the oven when it is 5°F to 10°F below your desired finished temperature, as the roast will continue to cook while resting. Let rest for 15 minutes before slicing and serving. Temperature guide

Medium rare: 130°F to 135°F

Medium: 140°F to 145°F

Medium well: 150°F to 155°F

Well done: 160°F

6. Tip: Add 1 cup of water or red wine to the bottom of the roasting pan before placing it in the oven. This helps collect flavorful drippings, prevents the butter from smoking and creates the perfect base for homemade au jus. 7. Cook side dishes: Preheat oven to 350°F. Remove film and lid, then place the tray on a baking sheet. If frozen, cook for 60 to 75 minutes. If thawed, cook for 40 to 50 minutes. 8. Check temperature: Heat side dishes until fully warmed throughout and slightly browned on top. Product internal temperature should reach 165°F. If the top browns too quickly, cover with foil until finished cooking. 9. Rest: Let side dishes stand for 5 minutes before serving. Cooking times may vary by oven. Always use a meat thermometer to check temperature for desired doneness.

This was delivered to my front porch timely and in generally good condition. It was in a very frozen state, as expected. I prepared the roast as per instructions (exactly), which produced an excellent finished product. The included mashed potato container was broken, even though there was no apparent damage to the outer box it came in. The Mac and cheese container was fully intact. Both were edible (quite good). There were ample amounts of leftovers that stored well, as there was only me and my wife to enjoy it. The first two meals of leftovers were eaten as Prime Rib dinners and the third and final meal of leftovers made an incredibly good Beef Stroganoff! Kind of pricey but nice for an occasional treat.

I hope this helps.

We chose to have a medium-rare prime rib dinner for Thanksgiving. Other than letting it sit for 1 1/2 hours instead of the recommended 2 hours for medium, we followed the instructions to a tea. The meat was so tender you could cut it with a table knife. And, the flavor was outstanding. We will definitely recommend this excellent prime rib to our friends and family.

Prime Rib

Just cooked it yesterday. Very good everyone enjoyed it. Meat tender, very tasty and juicy. Seasonings and Seasoned butter very tasty. Mashed potatoes very good. Mac and cheese just okay. Wish there was a option to get 2 mashed potatoes. Good deal.

Tasty Meal

Easy to bake instructions and it came out delicious.sides of Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes was excellent too

Excellent prime rib

I would buy this again & again. The shipping was fast and packaged properly. The prime rib & sides were the perfect size for our family.

Quality meat shipped right to your door

Great, easy directions. So tender and flavorful! Only drawback was it occupying my oven for 2.5 hours while it was cooking. Couldn't use it for any sides.

Best Prime Rib

The seal on the beef and mashed potatoes were broken so when the meat thawed, it leaked all over the refrigerator, and we were picking plastic out of the mashed potatoes (so we didn't use). We went ahead and took a chance on the meat and cooked it since it was too late to replace before Christmas, and everything turned out fine, but it was unsettling. The meat was tender. The mac and cheese was bland.

Faulty packaging

The prime rib was good beef. However, the sides came in plastic dishes designed to go straight in the oven. However, the plastic dishes were cracked and could not be used. This made finding replacement cookware difficult and messed up the timing on how long things should cook.

Troublesome sides

Prime rib was very good. The sides however were terrible. Mac n cheese was dry and gritty. Mashed potato seened to be instant and soggy after thawing. The container for potato was cracked open and leaked all over the fridge. Sides were in no way 'gourmet'.

Good meat, undesirable sides.

This was a very disappointing purchase. the prime rib had almost no marbling it was tough as shoe leather. i ended up throwing it out. Thos was an expensive lesson

A big disappointment!
