Organic Tender Sweet Carrots, 5 lbs.

Organic Tender Sweet Carrots are healthy and versatile veggies that should be one of your staples. These carrots are great anytime whether it is in your lunchtime salad, a quick afternoon snack or as part of your dinner recipe. Organic Tender Sweet Carrots contain many essential vitamins and are a good source of fiber.

What Makes These Carrots Organic?

These Organic Tender Sweet Carrots are grown in the USA using organic farming methods. This means that the farmers do not use any artificial fertilizers during the growing process of these carrots. No preservatives are added in the harvesting or packaging process. There is nothing standing between you and the rich, sweet flavor of these carrots. You can feel safe knowing that they are USDA-certified organic.

What Is the Nutritional Value of Organic Sweet Carrots?

Carrots come with many health benefits. They are rich in antioxidants and dietary fiber. They also contain beta-carotene and plenty of vitamin A and vitamin C. They support healthy eyesight and have immune system boosting properties.

How Can I Prepare Carrots?

Before eating or cooking, you should wash the carrots with warm water. Both ends can be snipped off, and you can use a potato peeler to clean the outermost layer. Carrots have a naturally sweet taste, which makes them excellent for eating raw. However, they can also be added to garden salads, coleslaw and even smoothies and juices. There are many different recipes that show off their special sweetness, for instance, glazed carrots are a popular holiday side dish. Cooked carrots can be excellent in soups or stews. Many people use them when making a pot roast along with potatoes.

Great value, like to pare and slice the whole bag and bring to a boil for 5 minutes then drain and freeze the slices in dinner portions. Easy to pop in the micro oven with a bit of Sam’s Organic Maple Syrup and a little butter for a delicious fresh tasting side dish. Low sodium and low glycemic index due to using organic maple syrup instead of sugar to sweeten! Great tasting and healthy for your heart, and diabetics.

Finally, Sams is carrying organic carrots. We make our own food for our Maltipoo dog. This is one of the ingredients. She loves sliced carrots to chew on as a healthy treat!

Happy to see organic carrots at Sams

These organic carrots from Sam's Club are absolutely unbelievable. This product comes packed with delicious carrots that last for weeks. The size of the produce is perfect and the texture is smooth and crisp.

Organic produce without the price tag

I purchase these carrots for our rabbits, they're always fresh.

Fresh

Tasty with fresh cauliflower and onions roasted in salt, pepper, olive oil and soy sauce.

Very Tasty

Best way to get your vegetables in daily

I've been buying these at Sam's for many years, but for some reason they are a little skinnier than usual this past year. At first I was assuming it was because of winter, but now that we're well into summer I'm wondering why that's still the case...

I'll keep buying them for now, but...

This is a great price for 5lbs of carrots. Although it depends on what you're going to use them for. There are all different sizes for n the bag. There are little ones and huge ones. So, if you're going to cut them all up in uniform pieces. You're golden. Otherwise nit do much.

Great price for 5lbs

These are good price, not as tasty as used to be. They seem to start going bad faster than previous purchases. We like air fryer carrots and they work well for our family.

good deal

They are not far from being bite size, they are so small. Twice to 3xs the work to peel and prepare. Bottom of the barrel.

Quality of fruits and vegetables is going down

Taste is not sweet . I used to buy all the time from sams, this time i had bad experience
