Nature Made Magnesium Citrate Softgels, 180 ct.

Instructions

<p>Nature Made Magnesium Citrate 250 mg per serving is a magnesium supplement for men and women that helps support muscle relaxation, nerve health, and heart health. This 250mg Magnesium Citrate supplement also supports bone health. Sourced from high-quality ingredients, this Magnesium supplement is gluten free and contains no synthetic dyes and no artificial flavors. These Nature Made Magnesium 250 mg per serving dietary supplements absorb better due to their Magnesium Citrate form, and help relax the body with each Magnesium softgel (1). Nature Made Magnesium supplements offer a Magnesium Citrate 250mg choice for people who do not consume enough Magnesium in their diet, which is over half of the U.S. population (2).&nbsp;</p> <h3>What is Magnesium?</h3> <p>Magnesium is a mineral that assists in more than 300 metabolic reactions in the body—from supporting nerve function to regulating muscle function to maintaining bone density. Magnesium can naturally be found in legumes, nuts, seeds and yogurt.†</p> <h3>Who should take Magnesium?</h3> <p>Magnesium has been identified as a common dietary shortfall. Over 50% of US adults do not consume enough Magnesium in their diets (1). This means that supplementation is important for many people. Health experts recommend a daily intake of 400–420 mg/day for men and 310–320 mg/day for women.</p> <p>(1) Reider, Carroll A et al. “Inadequacy of Immune Health Nutrients: Intakes in US Adults, the 2005-2016 NHANES.” Nutrients vol. 12,6 1735. 10 Jun. 2020, doi:10.3390/nu12061735</p> <h3>What is Magnesium good for?</h3> <p>Magnesium assists hundreds of metabolic reactions, helping support bone health, nerve and muscle function, and cellular energy production. As if that wasn't enough, it also helps support the production of Melatonin. It's a mineral with one heck of a job description.†</p> <p>Adults take two Magnesium Citrate softgels daily with water and a meal. Nature Made supplements are quality you can trust. (1) Citrate form is a more highly absorbable form than Magnesium Oxide. (2) Reider, C.A.; Chung, R.-Y.; Devarshi, P.P.; Grant, R.W.; Hazels Mitmesser, S. Magnesium Citrate is a great way to prevent serious muscle cramps, especially if you're taking diuretics (water pills, meds for high blood pressure/hypertension/HTN). While on diuretics, I took 1 cap in AM & 1 in PM. Now that I'm off the diuretics, i take 1 cap in the AM. It's surprising how well this works.

Use this daily

Product and delivery were fine. I really enjoyed being able to order products and have them delivered as I’m elderly. The free delivery was a large part of my being a plus member for years. Now that you’re charging to deliver I won’t use it very often.

No more free delivery for Plus

I had been taking a different form of Magnesium supplement that actually gave me really bad leg cramps, so I was hesitant to try them again. But I read up on the differences in the supplement forms and their benefits and decided to give the Citrate form a try. I have only been taking them for about a month, but some of the changes I have already noticed is I no longer have palpitations, I even more "regular" than before, and no leg cramps. I notice that a lot of people complain about the size, especially since the daily recommended dose is two capsules, and I get it. They are really big, but I don't have a problem with that and if size isn't a problem for you and you need a good magnesium supplement. I say give these a try.

Mighty in size and effectiveness.

Great description for the tablets and the count for the price if what drew us to the purchase and sales.

Great Magnesium supplement

walmart.com

This was prescribed to take by my neurologist. It has nearly eliminated many of my restless legs syndrome and neuropathy symptoms. Good brand, very pleased!

naturemade.com

I have tried other magnesium citrate but none work as well as this brand. I use it to keep headaches at bay. It works!

Headache relief. Only brand that works!

Magnesium Citrate is an Excellent source of magnesium that helps many ways for a healthier life. Also helps prevent constipation. Highly recommended

Best type of magnesium

My mom was complaining about knee amd joint pain. She also has pne BM per day and not what is considered normal by medical standards. I was told by my physician that magnesium may help with her symptoms. I started my mom on this product about a month ago and I have not heard her complaining about her knee pain and also has 2 to 3 BMs per day.

Joint pain

The capsules are larger than I thought they would be. They are easy to swallow.

Large pills

This pill is enormous. My 86 yo mother needs to take magnesium and I purchased these on sale and nope, that will never happen, not with these. And 2 a day? Y'all nutz? I wouldn't take it and I don't have the issues with taking pills like my poor mom does. Thing is, I believe the previous tablets were Nature Made and yes, excessively large...but nothing like this. It's hard to stress just how big these are, even if you're given the measurements.

These pills are ridiculously large.
