Playset is first class.  You will need help to assemble.  I invited friiends over and in one day got 90% done.  Very good hardware, directions are decent, videos are better.  Highly recommend.

First class playset

Love it!  Best thing we have ever put together.  Everything labeled and organized.  Also used the YouTube option that was very helpful.  Our grandson LOVES it.

We are very happy with this set. Assembly wasn’t too bad(the slide was the worst). Quality seems to be great.

Our playset is fantastic. I own other lifetime products I have out in the weather and they have stood up great. The playset went together well we were missing one of the support post for the slide. We called customer support and they couldn’t have worked with us more easier to get us our missing post. Once it was all done I knew our kids will have something good to play on for a long time.

Great Playset

First and foremost the playground is worth the price. Its unique for residential use and sturdy for all weathers. When it comes to assembly it does require at least two people, lots of patience and a hand drill. It does take several hours maybe even days depending on how much time your able to invest setting it up. We strongly recommend following the lifetime set up video and referencing the manual as well. Once set up its worth the time and investment. Beautiful playground!

Best Playground

Very sturdy and well built.  I will say you should build out the slide before hand to save yourself (and your fingers) a ton of hardship and time.  It can be built independently days or weeks before hand so the day of the build it will just be done and put on.

Instructions were great until step 8 with the plastic panels.  Weird pictures and angles of how its all supposed to go together and the plastic was just terrible to work with.  If it didnt looks so nice I would definitely subtract a star but since it looks amazing I will just accept it.  I added some fake grass so I dont hate life every time I mow around it.  I was definitely hesitant to buy cheap looking stuff but it didnt turn out too bad.

Worth it

Fun for the kids. Steps are tall, but managable. Some building steps are more difficult that they need to be.

We absolutely love our Adventure castle. However the guide book was a little difficult at sections to understand the instructions and proper placement.

Lots of bolts and lots of fun!

As you can probably guess putting it together is a big project. Took me about 10.5hours solo and I am extremely handy. Your average person is going to take 12-15hrs realistically to build. Would be quicker with two people. You need to reference the manual 5% of the time  and the YouTube video 95% of the time. In my case the day it delivered it was pouring rain and the instructions got soaked and we’re not useable. Fortunately there is a QR code on the front that takes you to their YouTube video which is pretty helpful.(or you can just search for it on YouTube) Also, a PDF copy of the instructions can be found on the lifetime website for this set which is how I pulled it up on my phone. Pretty much just used it when laying out the poles to figure out what poles go where. They don’t really tell you in the video on that step and it’s more clear to read it yourself. One thing that irritated me was there are multiple boxes that come in the crate and they don’t tell you what order to open them and what parts are in each that you need first etc… so I had to open every single box and lay out every single part to find the pieces you need first. As others have mentioned, the slide is a total pain and maybe the worst part overall. Hundreds of bolts. And that’s the first thing you must build.  It becomes irritating fast. The slide alone took 2.5hrs.  I also didn’t like how you have to drill your own holes in so many of the parts… that’s clearly a cost savings move by them so they can just pull them out of the plastic mold and throw in a box. It adds a lot of time to the build to drill a ton of holes in nearly every plastic piece. This is unprofessional in my opinion, it should really come pre-drilled. Another gripe, the plastic wall panels attach on the inside edges of the pipes, which does hide the hardware and give a cleaner look, but again adds a ton of time to the build because it’s so difficult to fasten this way.  If they just attached to the inside or outside face of the pipes, (like the top upper panels did) it would shave hours off the build time. Fiddling with those takes time! Overall it’s a good price for what it is. Kids love it. My hints for you… be extremely careful which bolts go where. Many are identical but ever so slightly different lengths… which can cause  you a lot of rework time. Overall the video on YouTube is very well done. Plan on using that as your main source to build this. One feature that is odd is the “staircase” on the side. It’s hardly a staircase, each step is like 2’ high! Kids have to climb and pull themselves up each step, not walk up it like steps. Just something to be aware of. Just have to kinda watch when young ones are coming down them… it’s a big step down!

Tricky assembly!!!!

We bought this swing set beginning of February 2024, it arrived end of February 2024. It is now end of March 2024, and we just noticed that the slide has sadly not held up. We have only had it a month. This is very disappointing after spending more than $2100 for it (including shipping). The slide is beginning to separate where the bolts have busted through the plastic. We really were in love with this swing set and were very impressed with the quality, until this happened.

Thin plastic. Holes do not line up.  Directions are vague. Slide not supported for use.  
The quality of the pieces are subpar.  The coating scratches in the box making it susceptible to rust. The plastic is thin and bows under weight. We bought this for the south west because the sun destroys wood. The plastic is too thin to survive the weather here.
