LG Counter Depth Max Refrigerator

This replaces a similar french door Samsung that was 12  years old.  We like the inside water dispenser as it doesnt take up space like outer door styles.  This is counter depth but similar cu ft than our other that was not counter depth.  The shelves on the door are very deep and accomodate lots of items.

The only thing I would say isnt as good or better than our previous model is that the ice maker takes longer to produce ice, which we will see how it fares in the summer months.  Overall a solid fridge for our family of 4

For us it has turned out to be a pretty good fridge. It has function excellently so far with no problems at all. On the plus side, there is plenty of room, it is good for organization in the fridge section, the lighting is good. The water dispenser on the inside is a little slow so you have to stand with the fridge open for a long time to get a glass of water. The organization of the freezer drawer is not great. It turns into a bit of a dumping ground making it difficult to find things on the bottom. All in all a very good fridge.

We are happy with our purchase

It has a lot more room than my old one. However the shelving placement could better. We’ve only had it for a day so can’t really say how well the ice maker works

Lots of room

This refrigerator makes our 4th LG appliance presently in our home. 
Our GE fridge had to be replaced after 2 years! This LG is so much better inside, spacious, clear bins & shelves. It has good freezer space. I didn't give it 5 stars only because the doors are thicker and hit the sides of the built in pantry and cupboard wall. It needs pulled out to allow it to open more.

It would be better to have the bottom vegetable box split into two so we don't need to open both doors in order to get things out.

This fridge 1 inch too tall. We had to have our cupboard cut to fit over the fridge. Plug in wire on top instead of bottom also issue.

French door

There is something wrong with the bottom door freezer. It doesn’t open all the way, as if it is caught on something. I’ve tried everything the site advised and still no luck. It is not ice build up either. And when I try to get it open I have to yank it, but not too hard so it doesn’t break.  So I am stuck with a fridge that has a freezer that only opens 1/4 of the way.  Big disappointment. 
Then I had to send away for a filter part change since the new style doesn’t accommodate my fridge’s style.  Inconvenient.

Disappointed

DON'T DO IT SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE. IVE HAD IT FOR 7 YEARS. THEY PREATTY MUCH HAVE REPLACED THE COMPRESSOR TWICE. ICE MAKER AND ALL THE PARTS INSIDE. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE INSURANCE AND DONT LET IT EXPIRE. YOU WILL HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THE COMPRESSOR WITH IN 3 TO 4 YEARS. THEY REPLACE IT WITH SAME PARTS. EXPECT TO HAVE THE SAME PROBLEMS OVER AND OVER. LG WARRANTY SUCKS SO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE AN ALTERNATIVE INSURANCE. WHAT A HEADACHE IM DEALING WITH THIS ISSUE AGAIN. STAY AWAY FROM LG PRODUCTS.
