[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had now a few weeks no issues what so ever very spacious even though shelves aren’t adjustable they are spaced that don’t need to be adjusted door bins are large and very functional lighting is good really like the smaller ice cubes temperatures in freezer and fridge consistent to setting as far as noise quiet really quiet someone had posted when opening doors would hit their foot don’t really understand that for no problem here opening doors and hitting my feet like I said so far so good hopefully a year from now or 12 years from now it’s still operating with the five star rating

So far so good. I have only had the refrigerator for about two weeks now but I have no complaints. I had it delivered then installed myself and it was incredibly simple. Seems a plenty spacious for food for myself and my son, could get a little pressed for space for a larger family but that’s with any side by side I’m sure. It looks nice. Water filter/ice are doing great.

Best counter depth refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our refrigerator of 17 years just broke. And I mean the entire door fell off and there was no way of putting it back. The pieces holding it fell apart. So, quickly we needed to find something. We had heard wonderful reviews about LG so that was our first to look at. We loved that the one that was showcased in the store had a counter depth option because we have very limited space in our kitchen and very tight space to move the old one out and new one in its place. We have  had this new refrigerator for a few weeks now and we love it! I love that it doesn't have handles, its sleek look, that there is no water tray in the water filter on the front (as ours always got calcium build up) and love the inside spaciousness with the water filter in the refrigerator side. Ours was on the very bottom, outside and not convenient. We also like how the ice dispenser in on the door and doesn't take shelf space away like our other one did. So needless to say we are very HAPPY so far!

Great features and Sleek design

The interior is well lit although I’m somewhat disappointed the shelves aren’t adjustable. The ice maker is a bit loud when it dumps and refills but it is only takes a few seconds so bear able. I like that it is a side by side because I find it doesn’t have a lot of unusable space and everything is easy to get to. So far I’m very pleased

The directions for using the dispenser were not how it works and not being real familiar with technology took us a bit to figure out how it does work.  Then we love it.

take the bottom drawer why have the handle on bottom of drawer, makes you just to bend over more to open should be on top of drawer ( who are your designers must be younger)
Then ice and water, most of the time so I touch for ice you tell us to hit ice first then I have 
hit button again goes to crush ice then hit again to get my water its just one more move to get water (another program flaw to me) just need it to be easier. Why not Ice, water, crush ice, water, sure save me time, but again probably young programmers

Needed some design improvements for me

purchased several months ago.  find the recessed handles awkward to use.  the ice maker makes too little ice.  just two of us and both elderly.  when relative comes to eat with us, usually run out of ice before meal over.  ice cubes are small and appear almost crushed. ice maker stops making ice when ice container is approximately 60 percent full.  recently on three occasions ice discharge has failed to turn off and has completely emptied the ice container.

I  BOUGHT THIS OVER A YEAR AGO AND HAD IT SERVICED SEVERAL DUE TO THE ICE MAKER.  IT NEVER WORKED & IF WE GOT A CUP OF ICE, WE WERE LUCKY.
LG JUST BRUSHED US OFF LIKE WE WERE NOTHING.  WE HAVE ALWAYS BOUGHT LG BECAUSE OF THEIR QUALITY AND SERVICE, BUT NOT ANYMORE.  WE OWN 3-LG TVS, A WASHER AND DRYER AND NOW A FRIGERATOR THAT DOES NOT WORK.
WE NOW HAVE IT IN OUR GARAGE & WILL NEVER BUY LG OR RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.

After 2 months, the refrigerator completely shut off. No power whatsoever. LG put me in touch with a technician and while the technician was quick to respond, LG wasn't at all regrading my food reimbursement.  I'd receive random texts saying they were on it but then no one would respond when I tried to follow up.  Still no word.......
