Deck box purchased to store bags of fertilizer and soil amendments for gardening. They had previously been stored near my side door because that kept them out of direct sunlight and rain. But definitely not a good look for anyone visiting. 

Assembly took 45 minutes. I used an impact driver for the almost 60 screws. I tried a regular screwdriver too, but found that it slipped out of the Phillips head too easily. The impact driver was both faster and adidn't strip the screw heads.

The screws tapped threads into plastic bosses molded into the box panels. The matching holes in the metal parts were oversize so you could position them directly over the plastic bosses. No fighting poorly toleranced screw holes--everything just fit perfectly.

You need two people at the end, when you fasten the hinges on the lid to the box. My assistant held the lid and I put three screws on each hinge in less than a minute per side. You may also want an assistant when moving the fully assembled box into its final location.

Clutter-free storage for gardening stuff

Made well, easy to assemble, great price.  Perfect for our pool toys that we keep outside, waterproof!

This storage box is amazing! I have two now actually, one on my 3 season back porch and one at my lake house outside. They are such a great way to keep things out of the weather. It actually shows on the box that two people can sit on top of it also. There’s a lot of good sturdy support. There’s also an area to put a lock if you want. It is also very slick and clean looking, something I don’t mind having sit out front to see at all. The lid has an arm that makes opening and closing it very smooth. Definitely recommend.

Amazing storage option

I received the Keter Resin Deck box and am very pleased with the sturdy structure and aesthetically pleasing look. It was easy to assemble and I was happy with the strength of the steel support pieces that add to the strength of the unit. It is a large deck box, perfect for storing pool toys and any outdoor balls or other toys. It closes securely and a lock can be added to keep important possessions safe and secure. The storage box is sturdy enough to hold 165 lbs inside the storage box and up to two people or 600 lbs can sit on it! I would recommend the Keter deck box without hesitation.

Keter Resin Deck Box

Been thinking about buying a deck box for a while. When the boxes went on sale, it was too good to pass up. The box fits perfectly on the deck. We have had several gully washing rains since I put out there, and there has not been a single drop of moisture inside. Plenty of room for our needs. I have been replacing boards on our deck and have stored my miter saw in the box rather than moving it back and forth to my shop.
The box was easy to assemble and is very sturdy! The lid shock hinges keep the lid open when you need it, and closed when you don't. I would recommend the Keter Deck box without hesitation

Love The Box

I’m thinking the measurements were leading. Measured for this to fit in a certain space and it came out a bit larger than stated. We were thinking it was inside measurements, not outside. Went together pretty good. The two pieces for the lock was a bit confusing, but finally got it to go.

Patio Storage

Not very thick but durable.  Easy to assemble, larger than anticipated but happy about size.  Like that the top will stays open so i can easily load content inside.   GREAT BUY FOR PRICE, SO GO FOR IT.   I WOULD BUY AGAIN.

Great Buy. ..Would buy again

This is my second Keter product and I have to say I am very pleased with it. It was very easy to assemble and so far has held up in the rainy weather. My cushions nice and dry. I will definitely use Keter products again.

Great product

I really liked this box. It was easy to build and held all of my dad’s stuff from his porch. However, a squirrel was able to chew through one of the corners within a week or so. Now, my dad opens the lid and is greeted by squirrel tails in his dog food bags.

Loved it, But…

Good size but plastic thickness doesn't seem like it will hold up over time. Top is also slightly warped so it closes with on offset.

I bought this in April 2025 and loved it for about 30 days. After that, it started to rust and is rusting more and more everyday. I don't think this will last a year or a year in a half in my pool enclosure in Florida. I recommend  that you do not buy in locations with a lot of rain or humidity.
