Over 13 years ago I started buying these bowls while living in the Beaumont area. I moved to Abilene and every time I visited Bmt I loaded my van with these bowls. I finally special ordered a pallet of these bowls several years ago(almost $1000). I'm getting close to having to order another pallet full.
Why do we like these bowls so much?
1) you can boil a can of soup in a 1100 watt microwave on high without distorting the bowl.
2) they will hold a can of chucky soup
3) they will hold up to heating a can of chili to the point it is too hot to eat.
4) if you microwave bacon you can poor the hot grease into one of these bowls and they don't melt. Put the grease in the freezer and when it congeals tap it out of the bowl and put it in a ziplock and back in the freezer for later seasoning. Reuse the bowl for the next batch of grease.
5) great for heating canned vegetables - holds a standard can full.

Fantastic

These surpassed my expectations by far. I even microwaved cream of potato soup with milk and we know milk likes to heat up. Couldn't even tell it was hit milk by touch g the outside but upon eating it was hit just like a stove. So yes I'd recommend this item.

Great quality.

Love these bowls. The size is great for so many things, chili,  cereal, oatmeal, soup, jambalaya, etc.

Awesome

a bit flimsy, break easily when carrying while filled with liquid; must use two hands, be very careful, but they are the best I've found.

could be thicker

The bowl becomes flimsy once full, if you want to move it you will need a plate underneath it or it will collapse, other than that it's great for soups salads cereal. I would have gave it five stars if it was not for the flimsiness.

Be careful

They are great for chef salads and spaghetti but a little pricey when you have to buy a lot, 20.00 for 125 Styrofoam bowls, plus shipping

Would be better if can pick up at store

These bowls are larger than expected, but a little thin. You need to double for a heavy soup or chili. The 125 ct package is a good value.

Good size bowl.

I like the size of those plates. They hold a good portion of snacks. However, plates are very thin and break easily and contents spill. I had to use two of them each time on top of each other so they don’t break, especially as I am carrying them from one place to another.

Nice size for many uses but bowls are very thin and flimsy. Will not hold up in microwave even for short periods on low temperatures.

Too flimsy they are very thin, don’t recommend for hot soups as the are thin and bend easily.
