The widget is a plastic-molded device that sits on the top of the contents of each can of Guinness Draught. When the can is opened, a small amount of beer and nitrogen, trapped in the widget, is forced out through the beer, which creates the famous creamy head that you find on a pint of Guinness Draught served in a pub. The widget gives Guinness Draught in cans the taste and texture of a pub-poured pint at home. Guinness beer is dark ruby red because of the way the ingredients are prepared. Some malted barley is roasted, in a similar way to coffee beans, which is what gives Guinness its distinctive color. The creamy white head is created from the "initiation"&nbsp;and "surging"&nbsp;of bubbles of nitrogen and carbon dioxide gas as the beer is poured. It's actually the nitrogen that causes the tight, white creamy head.

This is my go to beer anytime except the summer. I pour it into a glass and drink it as it should be enjoyed. The rich espresso flavour and deep ruby colour make this stout consistently stand out above the rest.

Good beer, esp the month of March for St Paddy's day, BUT be warned, multiple purchases throughout the month, literally 3x 8-packs a week, followed submission instructions that claim $5 rebate w/in 48-hours.  Zip nada zilch

Absolutely love this drink, it's taste is great. To me it's like drinking a mix of chocolate and coffee with a slight bitter aftertaste. It's smells great and the logo looks good.

I enjoy Guinness in a nice pint glass. The aroma of the flavor is amazing. It's packaged very nicely. I occasionally enjoy a Guinness every weekend and the quantity is reasonable.

Have had this before, but this Chicago version was flat.  Not as good as previous Guinness I’ve bought before. This was a bad batch.
