I found this protein drink by accident. I am a huge fan of sparkling water and as I was looking through all of the milkshake protein drinks, I spotted this one that said sparkling water and had 30 g of protein and I was intrigued. The only complaint I have is that there aren't more flavors to choose from. It comes in a fruit punch which is good in itself, but I would like to have different flavors to drink. But I won't take away any stars because I think it's very delicious and refreshing and I get my protein, too!! What else would you want...except a variety of flavors to drink!!

GREAT PROTEIN DRINK!!

This drink is delicious! I bought it on a whim and I want to buy more. I haven't seen it in my lat 2 shopping trips. Online it's way too expensive. Please get more in stock.

Delicious

This fruit punch drink was surprisingly good! The flavor was really balanced—sweet enough to enjoy but not overpowering or artificial tasting. One of the best parts was the texture; it wasn’t gritty at all like some protein drinks can be. It went down smooth and was easy to drink, whether after a workout or just as a quick pick-me-up. Definitely a solid option if you want something refreshing with protein that actually tastes good.

Great flavor without the grit.

These aren’t too bad, considering they are a protein drink. They do have that protein texture, a bit “thicker” than regular sparkling water, but the sparkling water does help. What made my rating low is that they are incredibly, almost sickly, sweet. I will cut the next can in half and use regular seltzer.

Way too sweet

I’m used to Premier Protein RTD shakes during my workday.  Pretty excited to try these.  The fruit punch flavor is acceptable, the flavor isn’t off putting to me like when I try energy drinks.  But, I’m hooked on the creamy shake flavor for my protein.  Other than that it’s plain black coffee, water or unsweet tea for me.  Probably won’t buy again.

Decent flavor, just not for me

The taste is similar to the Flintstones chewable multivitamin for kids. There is a thick consistency with the fizziness of the carbonation. I really wanted to try a great clear protein but because of the thickness of the liquid I will not be repurchasing.

Sparking Protein

We thought this would be a good substitute for protein drinks containing milk because my wife has lactose issues.  Turns out that there is milk in this, so she still can't drink it. The flavor is a little funky, but we can tolerate. Won't be buying it again.

Not as good as we hoped.

This isn't a bad idea just poor execution. The flavor itself isn't bad but the liquid is so thick that it's harder to consume than protein milk. If there is a way to change the consistency of the product then it would get 5 stars easily.

Very thick. Hard to drink consistently.

I had high hopes for these. Chilled and tried my first. There is an off taste, and I finally figured it was like beef fat or bone marrow. Not what I want in fruit punch. I've had a couple friends try them, and they thought the same. Turns out it's from Bovine Collagen Peptides in the ingredients. I'll need to toss these out.

Taste was not good

I had high hopes for Genius Gourmet Sparkling Protein – Fruit Punch, but unfortunately it was one of the worst drinks I've ever tried. The flavor is nothing like fruit punch—more like overly sweet chemicals mixed with a strange artificial aftertaste that lingers way too long. The carbonation somehow makes it worse, giving it a chalky, fizzy protein taste that's just unpleasant.

For a drink that's supposed to be refreshing, it's anything but. I could barely finish a few sips before giving up. If you're expecting something even remotely similar to fruit punch, you'll be very disappointed. Honestly, it tasted like someone carbonated a melted protein bar and added fake fruit flavoring. Save your money and skip this one. 😖🥤
