It might be obviously different for those who eat it regularly and for me I just like the flavor and the chip crunch so any chip will do for me and glad to see less crap in my chips! Because there is no need for color, all yellows and red gone!!! Yes it has less coating on the chip but that's expected since artificial flavors were removed. As a person who enjoys chips, I can feel better about eat them now. So what they taste a bit different, shall get used to it just like the original was a new/different thing in the beginning.
For more flavor, I drizzled some hot sauce on mine and occasionally lime juice. Don't eat with your eyes 😉

Better chip, noticeable difference, so what…

I'll admit, I was highly apprehensive to try Doritos Flavor Shots / Naked Nacho at first because I am so used to the classic, brightly colored chips. However, I was completely blown away! They deliver that exact, iconic zesty nacho cheese flavor I love, just without the heavy artificial food dyes. They are absolutely delicious, and I am already planning to buy another bag. If you are on the fence about trying a dye-free option, don't hesitate—these completely deliver on taste!

Surprisingly Amazing – Same Great Taste

I really liked these better than the original! A good "clean" flavor without the "dusty" part! Unfortunately, I rarely find them in stock at Sam's Club, so they really are a "treat"! Now PepsiCo has threatened to raise the price! It was good while it lasted, but it's not worth a higher price! Too bad, it was a good product.

Good, but not that good!

These chips taste exactly like the regular vibrant orange ones and we appreciate no dyes in our house! I have a child who is definitely affected by dyes so it is very nice to have a product without some of the dyes and ingredients that can harm some people. We eat them sparingly but just having the option is so nice for her! School lunches are more like her peers, I don't have to worry about added junk, and she can enjoy delicious nacho chips when she'd like!

I hope they keep making these!

I found the Doritos Nacho Cheese flavor to be crunchy, tasty and I enjoyed them. They might not be as pretty as the ones with all kinds of additives but the color didn't matter. The taste is great. They are the color of natural corn. I definitely will be buying again. It's good to know I can eat the Doritos with my sandwich and not have all the additives and food coloring . Nacho Cheese is what I like and buy.

No GMO Doritos.

A Different Take on Doritos!

I like these when I want something with a little more flavor than plain tortilla chips, especially with my homemade guacamole mix. They still give me that familiar Doritos crunch, but with everyone talking so much about additives and artificial ingredients, these somehow make me feel like I'm choosing a slightly “healthier” version of Doritos — if there is such a thing. 😂 Either way, they're tasty, crunchy, and really good with guacamole.

These definitely taste better. The cheese does not have the artificial flavor. Why would you not buy these over the old ones. Better taste and better for you.

My only complaint is that they are out of stock often. Inventory....order more!

Better for you and better tasting

My family loves Doritos. Now we can eat them and feel a little better about our choices. I like having more natural foods. These taste just the same as before.

These are good. They're definitely toned down flavor wise from the og ones but that's expected. I like them. My wife says they taste like the regular version of cool ranch, but I think they taste like the nacho ones. Amount of chips in the bag is what you'd expect, i.e. mostly air. I'll buy them again tho

I love that some of the added crap has been taken out of these chips, but I will say they taste more like the cool ranch flavor than nacho cheese and it would help if they were not so expensive.

Decent flavor (just not nacho flavor)

i bought these and the ranch ones cuz im a sucker for novelty. they are the la croix of chip. faintly smell the flavor they should have. i opened these, ate 2 and was surprised it was the cheese one. probably good as a tortilla chip for nachos...but why spend more for less.
