Loving the options the Cuisinart Barista 4 in 1 Coffee Maker offers. It is easy to use. And great for 12 cups or 1 espresso. I have been looking for something that would fit in a smaller space but do it all, and this one fits perfectly!

...But otherwise, I might just as well be in a commercial espresso shop, except there is never a humongous line in my kitchen! Seriously, this is a serious coffee-maker. My old Cuisinart drip-brew coffee maker finally gave out after many years of excellent service and I started shopping online for its replacement. The Barista 4-in-1 was a little more pricey than I had first intended, but then I realized, '4-in-1, I'm really buying four machines!' which made the price point very agreeable.

The machine itself was amazingly simple to set up and looks very sharp on my kitchen counter. Both its water reservoirs (for drip brew and for forced K-cup/Espresso pods) are easily filled, no muss, no fuss. The mechanics of getting the actual drink are completely uncomplicated and 100% consistent. Cup after cup, no matter the mode, is always perfect.

Even the clean-up after steaming milk for a latte, cappuccino, or mocha is an effortless breeze. The steamer stem is long enough to prevent froth overflows, and a quick wipe with a clean damp paper towel returns the wand to its original pristine condition immediately.

Returning to economics, I save time and waste less undrunk leftover coffee than ever before and for a quick 'cuppa', nothing beats the wonderful single-serve options in 6, 8, or 10 oz sizes, or the no-hassle espresso pods for a single or 'doppio' shot.  Oh, yes, I can also change-up my game and make tea or excellent cocoa!

It Doesn't Ask "What is your name, please?"...

I love Cuisinart products. I love their stand mixer (I purchased the Kitchen Aide for my boyfriend and I like my Cuisinart better!!!), my Toaster/Convection Oven and now my 4 in 1 coffee maker. It makes GREAT espresso, cappuccino and regular coffee. I LOVE that it uses Nespresso, Keurig and regular coffee to brew. I have saved a lot of money brewing my own coffee at home since I purchased this item. The espresso just smells amazing. Loud, but awesome. LOVE IT!!!!!

Very Impressed

I really like the ability this machine has to produce great coffee, with three distinct methods.  I haven't used the frother yet, but I like the hot water swinging pipe for tea.  Overall, a great level of coffee possibilities in a singular well designed machine.

Great function, and design!

I didn't need a new coffeemaker as my 12 year old Cuisinart worked fine, but the many brew options on this 4 in 1 piqued my interest. I love it! It seemed complicated at first but after a couple trial runs, I was fine with all options…and use them all— regular brew, pods, expresso pods, hot water and steamer for milk froths. I have something different each morning! My husband is a pod guy and loves it ease of use and handy water refill container. So glad I splurged a little!

I'm a barista!

This coffee machine is very easy to use.  We needed a machine with the ability to use k-cups and other coffee pods.  The steamer is nice.  I also like that the hot water comes out of the steamer wand so it does not get exposed to coffee.  In other models, we avoided making tea with the hot water from the machine because it inevitably tasked like coffee.  It is a larger machine so beware if you are putting it on a counter where it will have cabinets above it.  We only have countertops with cabinets above and we have to pull the machine out to make the coffee and tuck it back against the wall when we are done.  Not a real problem, but if space is an issue in your kitchen then take note.

Wonderful coffee machine!

The Cuisinart Barista Bar 4-in-1 Coffeemaker is an affordable investment. It is easy and intuitive to use Makes a great cup of coffee! I have used all the features and find them to be of good quality. Our last Cuisinart coffeemaker was 17 years old when we decided to move up to this one and was still working fine.

Earned the reputation of quality

This is a really great barista bar that any coffee nut would love which is why I bought it for my husband. We've owned several Cuisinart coffee makers over the years and they seem to be the best, that have held up for us over the years. The hubby drinks a ton of coffee and this gives him options. The only downside for him, is there isn't a selection for a 12oz cup. Lol

Happily enjoying coffee, tea, and espresso!!

Trusting the Cuisinart name, we purchased this coffee center bc we love drip coffee but wanted the flexibility of a K-cup.  (We previously had a different brand that offered both but we went through 3 machines in 6 years and were fed up with that brand).   The fact that this also allows NESPRESSO PODS?!?   Heavenly.   In fact, since I like my coffee stronger than my husband, I've started brewing an espresso and adding coffee to it for that extra punch.  

I like the 4 hour warming plate capability since I'm usually awake 2-3 hours before my husband.   Also of note, is the large reservoir for single cup brewing.   I honestly couldn't be more pleased with this machine for now.  Hopefully it will serve us for many years. 🤞

This machine comes with quick start instructions and detailed instructions and as long as you take the time to read them, you will have no problem using this.   I saw a review where someone said it was “like a piece of furniture “ on their counter but really, look at any high quality, espresso or multi-function coffee machine and it's the same or smaller than those.  

I would and have recommended this to friends.

Happiness in a cup with a double shot!

I would have rated the Cuisinart a 4.5 (out of five) but I could only use whole numbers.  It's a great coffee maker, certainly an improvement from my earlier Cuisinart coffee maker.  I love the feature of steaming my milk and the convenience of using coffee pods when I am lazy.   Add the espresso maker feature and I am almost putting Starbucks out of business :o)   

The reason I didn't give the coffee make a perfect score was the water fill level indicator.  Making six cups (which I usually do each morning) gets a little tricky.  I can clearly see the water fill to levels 2 thru 4 but getting to level six (cups) requires I keep my eye on the fill line least I might over fill my mark and delude the strength of my coffee. Beyond level six to ten is easy to see and stop.  Not a game changer but certainly something the design team can improve upon in version 2.0.  Cheers!

Almost Perfect but Who/What Is

I bought this 2 weeks ago and it is the worst user experience design from a mechanical engineer. The instructions are simplistic and 2 of the 3 ways to make coffee aren’t easy to make. You have to turn the right knobs in the right spot and it ain’t easy.  Try to keep the burning plate on warm. Seriously try to do it - you can’t. Look it up on YouTube - no one can.
