Cosmic Crisp Apples, 4 lbs.

Cosmic Crisp Apples: A Unique Blend

The Cosmic Crisp apples are a unique blend of Enterprise and Honeycrisp apples, offering an exceptional eating experience. These apples are known for their large size, attractive appearance, and versatility. The Cosmic Crisp apple is not just large, but also juicy, with a firm and crisp texture that some say snaps when you bite into it!

Surprisingly Sweet Flavor

The Cosmic Crisp apple has a surprisingly sweet flavor profile, making it an excellent choice for eating. These apples are cultivated with naturally higher levels of acidity and sugar, which gives the Cosmic Crisp flavor a sweet punch. This sweetness is so pronounced that you can reduce the amount of added sugar in your baking recipes when using these apples. Some even claim it to be the best-tasting apple.

Pro Tips & Tricks: Making Your Fresh Fruits Last

We understand the importance of making your fresh fruits last as long as possible. Apples, like the Cosmic Crisp, can be stored in a cool, dry dark place for long-term storage, or in the fridge if you plan to eat them within a few weeks. It's important to note that apples emit ethylene gas, which can speed up the ripening process for other produce. Therefore, it's best to store them separately to maintain their freshness.

The cosmic apples are so kind and delicious. Our new family pay rent. We used to only buy the Honeycrisp apples, but my kids like this one better because they’re very sweet, crunchy, and juicy. Perfect for a snack on its own or to dip into peanut or almond butter.

Crunchy, juicy and delicious

This was my first time trying Cosmic Crisp but it won't be my last. They're a little sweet, a little tart and very crisp. I love them with saltine crackers slathered with peanut butter. Yummy'

Delicious!

My wife loves apples but is very fussy apple what kinds she'll eat. Typically she prefers Macouns which we have to order online and have delivered to us hear in Florida. However, they are only available for a short period of time in the fall. Of course this is a very expensive proposition. Starting this spring I bought her some of these Cosmic Crisps and she loves them. While the peel is a little thicker than a Macoun they have the same crispness and sweet-tart flavor. I am not sure if they are actually available year round but here it is in May and you can still get them at Sam's, so hopefully they are.

Good Crisp Apple - Available Year Round?

I worked at an apple orchard for five years, and we had a lot of flavors, but we never had Cosmic Crisp (possibly because it hadn't been made back then; it appears to be a crossbred apple), and I wish we had because these are my favorite! They're sweet, but they've got the tang of a HoneyCrisp without being as strong as a Granny Smith or a Pink Lady. My dad likes Gala, but they're too sweet for me, and I hate Red Delicious, but Cosmic Crisp? Love them!

Favorite Apple!

These are nice and crisp with a not too sweet, not too tangy flavor. They hold up well. I cooked them in butter, cinnamon and brown sugar, put a graham cracker with a caramel layer and walnuts down first. The cooked apples were next, then whipped topping and a walnut half. I wanted a picture but people grabbed them as fast as I could put the whipped topping on. They were still raving about the apple dessert 3 days later!

A perfect dessert that was the hit of the bbq.

I thought I would try the Cosmic Crisp apples because they were on sale. I did not like the tartness of the apples. Other customers may like them. The apples themselves were a good size and firm. I just prefer the Honey Crisp apples instead.

Cosmic Crisp Apples

We buy these apples all the time, and usually they are very good. Not this time...they were crisp, yes...however not very sweet like they normally are! Disappointed with Sam's Club fruit overall lately! Had bad experiences with fruit being moldy right out of the bag and not tasting good!

Just "OK"

I purchased these apples August 4, 2026 in the AM. Cut one the next morning for work. Not good. They were on sale. I almost didn't purchase them but I said to myself, why not. Every little bit help with food prices so high. Will be very skeptical purchasing them.

Unable to eat

Half of the apples were rotten on the bottom. We did not bring them back to the store because we live too far away.

Not so Cosmic Apples

There was definitely a storage issue with these apples. There was a distinct musty taste and smell to these apples and unfortunately we threw the whole bag. It was not an isolated issue because a friend bought these a week earlier and had the same issue.

Musty taste
