Akoya pearls are produced in several varieties of saltwater mollusks in Japan and China. They were the first to be cultured in the early 1920s and are the most popular pearls used in strands and earrings. I just received my 24" 8.5-9 mm necklace. It is absolutely breathtaking, the most beautiful, perfect, rosetone Akoya pearl necklace I have ever seen. I did a lot of research and found these at Sam's. I called the # given in Q&A below, 877-365-6333, to ask questions and received awesome service. Please do Not hesitate to buy this necklace in any mm size pearl. You will be so happy. The photos don't do it justice. My pearls are a true pink rose overtone with gorgeous luster. It came with a certificate of authenticity and a beautiful gift box, with extremely fast delivery. I absolutely love this pearl necklace and it is the perfect length-easily glides over my head without unclasping it.

Most Beautiful Akoya Pearl Necklace Ever

I bought this necklace in March 2019. I selected the 7.5-8 size. The luster is nice. I wanted nice looking pearls that were affordable and I am very pleased with my purchase. You can call 877-365-6333 if you want a certificate of authenticity. (I made the call and did receive mine.)

I absolutely LOVE these pearls!!!!  They are great quality & the perfect length. They look amazing with anything from dressy to t-shirts!  Ordering was easy and prompt.

Great Quality

I ordered these pearls on Monday and received them on Wednesday!  I had a question, and the customer service department was very responsive.  The strand of pearls is lustrous -- I can really see myself in the surface of each one!  I know they will be a valued family heirloom.

Gorgeous Pearls and Excellent Service

I bought the 24" strand that is 8-8.5mm and they are beautiful.  They look very much like the Akoya pearls that I saw while I was in Japan but these are less than half the price of the ones in Japan.  If you call you can request a certificate of authenticity they will happily mail you one.

It said it was AAA Akoya pearl necklace so I expected quality. The color color was good but it had plenty of blemishes. I was really looking forward my 24 inch pearl necklace since I already have an 18 inch. Unfortunately I had to return it.

I was disappointed by the quality of the pearls.
