Bought this mower to replace my old one, the difference is literally night and day. The AiPower mower has enough power for all tall grass and weeds, and the self-propelled feature actually walks at a normal, comfortable pace. It is heavy duty and solid. It’s been starting on the first try every time so far. Honestly, totally worth the money.

Great power and easy to start and operate

I really liked this mower.  I was in the market and purchased it at Sam's Club because it was there and at a great price.  I got it home, and the setup was pretty seamless.  The mower has been great.  It cuts well and seems very sturdy and well-built.  Would definitely recommend to anyone in the market.

Great mower at a very stong pricepoint!

Never had a rare powered lawnmower before, but this one has lots of power and it wants to move. It will take down your tall grass and make your mowing time shorter. If you can’t handle it get out of the yard. It’s not for those all seniors because this thing wants to run it cut it mulch it good price compared to all others in its range. Goodbye caught it while it was on sale.

Ran into some issue early on with this mower. the engine floods really easy, but if you let is sit a bit it will start right up. Knowing that it runs great and handles my hilly yard like a champ.

Mower

Mower is great. A little too fast but other than that it’s great! I gave it 3 stars only because this is my second one with 2 weeks. The first one’s motor seized due to no oil. The box states it comes with oil. I didn’t see a bottle of oil but checked the dip stick and it showed it had some in it. I used it once it was fine. Not even half way through the mow, the lawn mower died. The pull cord was stuck. Long story short, make sure a bottle of oil comes with the lawn mower!

Great mower

Sadly, I'm very disappointed with this lawn mower.  First, and probably most important, is that Usain Bolt couldn't keep up with the self-propell speed.  It's just way too fast and there's simply no way to adjust it.  If you decide not to use it and just push the power, every now and then you'll accidently bump the handle to engage it.  Especially if you're pulling backward toward you.  Then the mower just takes off on you.  It's so frustrating.

Second is the handle that adjust the height.  It's huge and plastic.  Honestly I thought it would make adjusting easier, but that handle gets in the way.  It gets caught on the shelvng as I'm pusing it in or out of my shed.  It gets caught on the irrigation system on my raised beds.  I can imagine that this handle will be broken off before then end of June.  

And finally, the handle is held in place by plastic disks with teeth on them.  After just one time cutting of my lawn, they already seem loose.  There's probably as much plastic on this lawn mower as you'd find in a lego factory.  LOL.

I'm pretty sure this will have to go back.  It's just not worth the frustration.

This mower isn't worth it.

DO NOT BUY. Purchased 5/2/26 and will be returning 5/19/26. Mowed with it 3 times and the self propel DOES NOT WORK. I will be returning to Sam’s Club. They can deal with the manufacturer. I will not be. I purchased from Sam’s, they have a contract with the manufacturer, I do not. If 0 stars could be awarded, it would have received a 0

DO NOT BUY

I don’t know if perhaps it’s just this mower or if it is a defect in the mower itself. The reason I buy a bagged mower is because I don’t like grass clippings. The bag does not attach securely. It always blows grass back on to whoever is mowing the yard and it also blows the grass clippings back onto the grass. We have used the mower twice and both times we have been very dissatisfied. I am going to contact Sam’s about getting a return for this item and another thing that really upsets me about this mower is if you accidentally hit the engage bar that engages the self-propelled feature this mower would jump and get away from you. It should not be right at your body. We are senior citizens and this could be very very bad for us.
